Paloma Barceló is a family-run shoe line that began in 1960, when Manuel Barceló opened his first footwear factory in Spain. Today, the company is operated by the second generation, and soon to be handed over to the third. Craftsmanship and expertise are what have made this family business a leader in natural fibers and hand-braided and stitched leather. Materials are extremely important, and a careful internal selection process of ethical suppliers and raw materials, like jute, raffia, cork, natural rubber, wood, and leather — ensures the highest quality standards, for shoes meant to last over time.
